Brookfield Alarms is acquired by CGH

by Andy Clutton

Connelly Group Holdings has successfully acquired the Scottish family business and NSI Gold certified installer, Brookfield Alarms. Brookfield owners Robert and Elaine MacIntyre have sold their business as a succession plan strategy after over forty years of trading. The area of trading for Brookfield is predominantly in the West of Scotland with a varied client base of commercial and residential premises being supported.

All staff and engineering support personnel will be retained and Robert and Elaine will continue to be involved in advisory and support roles until their plans to enjoy their retirement as the weather improves later in 2023 can be fulfilled.

This latest acquisition will add circa 3500 customers to the CGH business.

Brookfield Alarms will continue to trade as normal from Brookfield (near Paisley) in the foreseeable future and will be rebranded as CSS in the years ahead.

Paul Connelly MD at CGH said in an online social media post: “We are delighted the MacIntyres chose CGH to help look after both their staff and customers after such a long journey. We are all looking forward to working together in the years ahead.”
