Skills for Security is at The Security Event to highlight the importance of structured training and apprenticeships, supporting skills and competence across the fire and security sectors.
With a football theme in honour of the World Cup, the provider of fire and security training and apprenticeships will feature a dedicated area, designed to engage installers from across the UK. It will showcase how upskilling teams and recruiting apprentices can strengthen their workforce.
Skills for Security will also host a dedicated area for the National Qualifiers of the WorldSkills UK Electronic Fire and Security Competition, which aims to see 30 apprentices take part and showcase their skills. The competition will assess practical ability and industry knowledge across fire systems, intrusion detection and access control, reflecting the skills required of engineers entering the sector.
