Heald has announced the launch of a dedicated servicing and maintenance division, HealdProtect. The new division specialises in providing service and maintenance solutions for a range of perimeter security solutions, including but not limited to Heald products.
HealdProtect is committed to ensuring organisations maintain their “protective stand-off” at all times and offers round-the-clock support with 24/7 call-out facilities. The division’s core objective is to maximise product longevity and ensure a site remains secure throughout the year. Services are delivered by a team of qualified engineers, backed by Heald and its original equipment manufacturer (OEM) factory support.
The launch coincides with the appointment of Jon Trott as managing director of HealdProtect. Jon brings over 15 years of expertise in the perimeter security industry, having previously managed Cova Security Gates prior to its acquisition by CLD Physical Systems.
HealdProtect’s services will include essential safety checks, detailed service reports, and continuous technical support, in particular as legislation such as the introduction of the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill (‘Martyn’s Law’ ‘Protect Duty’) begins to take effect.
