Kings Secure Technologies (KST) has opened a new accredited training centre at its technology monitoring facility, K-SOC, in the West Midlands, dedicated to providing training in public space surveillance. It caters to newcomers entering the field and seasoned professionals striving to advance their expertise. Additionally, the centre will play a role in supporting the Group’s learning and development program, steered by Cassie Flanagan, KST’s head of L&D.
The training centre will be led by Ricky O’Sullivan, K-SOC training manager, an accredited instructor with Highfields. The curriculum has been designed to blend theoretical knowledge with practical applications, ensuring participants gain a well-rounded understanding of surveillance techniques.
Ricky O’Sullivan, K-SOC training manager said: “Our new training centre represents a significant step forward in enhancing security standards through education. I’m thrilled to bring my experience to this venture and look forward to welcoming participants who share our dedication to safeguarding public spaces.”
