PSI Premier Awards Winner – Pyronix

The winner of the award for training offered by manufacturers and distributors in 2020 was Pyronix

A huge thank you to absolutely everyone who voted for our training services, we’re delighted to win the Manufacturer/Distributor Training Award at the PSI Premier Awards 2020. As voted for by industry professionals, the knowledge segment of our GAP initiative has proven to be the installer’s choice training platform.

“This is a very proud achievement and we’re so happy and thankful for the level of support we’ve received for our GAP initiative,” Laurence Kenny, Pyronix Marketing Manager, said.

Incorporated in 1986, Pyronix is a world-leading manufacturer of professional electronic security equipment for use in residential, commercial and industrial applications in the intruder alarm market. Part of the Hikvision group of companies, we design a wide range of multi-award-winning wired and wireless intruder alarm solutions, utilising market-leading technologies and patenting many technologies.

Winning numerous awards over the years, Pyronix has reliability, quality, innovation and customer service at the heart of everything we do and we pride ourselves on not only offering the best possible solutions, but also the best possible support.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we turned our attention to directly supporting our customers in any way we could; accelerating the launch of our GAP initiative from the summer to the end of March.

GAP focused on raising awareness of our service portfolio available to boost our customers in three key areas: knowledge, revenue and brand.

With a particular focus on knowledge and training, we hoped to make every customer aware of everything at their disposal to reach their full potential; increasing monthly webinars by over 550% and launching our Training On Demand platform to allow installers to train and learn at their own pace at any time they can.

Since launch we’ve proactively reached out to over 5400 installers, trained over 3500 installers and issued over 1700 TOD (Training On Demand) certificates.

“With the unprecedented circumstances of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was essential that our customers knew that we’re still here for them,” Laurence said.

He continued: “We wanted to be able to give them a proactive focus while they may not be installing; enabling them to improve not only their product knowledge, but their business. To have this work with GAP recognised in this way really means a lot to everyone at Pyronix for all the effort that’s gone in to supporting our customers while dealing with this situation.

“A massive thank you to absolutely everyone who voted for us for this award. This year hasn’t been without its challenges, but together we’ve continued to push forward in supporting customers throughout the year.”

Alongside our GAP initiative, we also launched the MCNANO-WE, HEAT-WE and LightCamera solutions; providing greater upsell opportunities and extending the security offering to provide real added-value and longevity to our systems.

“We’re really pleased to have been able to deliver the level of support we have to our customers, while also adding to our product portfolio,” Laurence said. “With the support initiatives and product launches we’ve already delivered to the market this year, all we can say is watch this space as we’ve got some big launches scheduled over the coming months.”
