Next Generation begins to take shape

by PSI Magazine

Here we hear from Skills for Security about the plans for the seminar content of the new Next Generation events

The Next Generation events for 2022 hosted by PSI magazine in association with Skills for Security and IFSEC, with the support of NSI and SSAIB, are beginning to take shape this week as David Scott, MD at Skills for Security reveals his plans for the first-day content:

“Covering four key areas throughout the day we will have an Installer Forum; A look at future technologies and whether we should resist or embrace these; How to create an employee retention strategy for engineers and back-office staff; Finally, there will be an opportunity throughout the day to learn about technical training and development opportunities including apprenticeships that are available in our sector,” says David.

“We are all extremely excited to be involved in this forward thinking event. One of the key factors in agreeing to sign up as headline sponsors was that these events are different. It’s about putting on a show that offers direct benefit to the installers. There is something that benefits everyone, whether it’s the social and networking aspect of the PSI awards, dinner and golf day; the technology infused table top exhibition which offers to have a focus on future technologies and innovations; or the “Skills Talks” ran by us (Skills for Security – The UKs largest Fire and Security Training Provider), which offers to bring together industry leaders and influencers to help map the future of the sector.”

The table-top exhibition will give opportunity to installers to learn about the latest technologies and innovations that will hit the market in the coming months and years. Installers can use the event to network with the decision makers, and form new partnerships that will help form future business strategies.

If you are looking to take on apprentices, strengthen your installation business through training and recruitment or want to find out about the latest security and fire technologies, don’t miss the two events at:

Warren Weir at Luton Hoo on 22nd & 23rd June 2022

Celtic Manor on 14th & 15th September 2022
