Grosvenor Technology has expanded its senior management team with the appointment of Head of Product Development Mark Knight. Mark joins Grosvenor from Microsoft where he led a team responsible for delivering secure media communication between Skype users. His professional experience also includes Director of Product Management at Thales e-Security, where his portfolio of encryption products was used by technology and financial services companies. He was previously Software Development Manager at nCipher and Senior Software Developer at Deutsche Bank.
In his new role Mark will ensure that Grosvenor’s Research and Development resources continue to deliver solutions to real world problems, and that the company’s electronic security products are easy to deploy, secure and commercially successful.
Grosvenor Technology is the electronic security arm of Newmark Security plc. Chief Executive Officer Marie-Claire Dwek commented on Mark’s appointment, saying “Mark joins a number of other new team members who have been recruited from leading blue-chip organisations. We look forward to utilising Mark’s professional skills to enhance our product offering.”
