CSS acquires Disc Security Systems

by Andy Clutton

Connelly Security Systems (CSS) has announced the acquisition of Greater Glasgow-based Disc Security Systems. After more than twenty years of service to the Glasgow market, owners Jim and Kimberly Jamieson have decided it’s time to pursue new interests and enjoy a well-deserved retirement.

“Jim and I have known each other for over thirty-five years,” said Paul Connelly, director of CSS, commenting on LinkedIn. “I was delighted when Jim and Kimberly chose CSS as their preferred buyer. They’ve earned their ticket to relax after decades of hard work, and there’s no better way to ensure their clients receive continued quality service than by bringing them into the CSS family.

“This is the first CSS acquisition of 2026 following on from Clan alarm in 2025. On a personal note, I’m now eighteen months into my own stepping back from the front line as part of my own retirement planning in the years ahead. My three sons Callum, Declan and Lewis are well placed to drive the business forward with our amazing staff as we coast toward our 40th anniversary later this summer.”

Disc Security will be rebranded as CSS in the future.
