Norwich security firm, Hawthorne, has strengthened its commercial team with the appointment of Marion Cook as Business Development Manager.
Marion joins the business following roles with Otis Elevator and Johnson Controls, where she worked in account management and service sales across complex building systems.
Her appointment comes as Hawthorne continues to build momentum following the recent acquisition and rebrand of SSY (Security Solutions Yes). The business delivers CCTV, fire detection and access control systems to commercial and private clients across East Anglia and nationwide.
Leanne Osborne, who oversees operations at Hawthorne, said Marion’s experience working with major building systems providers would bring valuable insight to the growing business: “Marion understands the environments our clients operate in and the importance of systems that simply have to work. As Hawthorne grows, strengthening our commercial capability is an important step in supporting both our existing customers and new sectors where resilience and security are becoming increasingly important.”
