What are your company’s main business activities?
Design, installation and support of CCTV systems; intruder alarms; access control systems; smart sensors, network systems and real-time monitoring solutions.
What emerging technologies do you see shaping the future of the industry, and how is your company adapting to stay ahead?
The partners we have selected to work with are always adapting to ensure they are offering the most advanced technological solutions. Like in many areas of life, the emergence and rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology is bringing benefits to security systems, particularly in respect of surveillance cameras.
We are well-established partners of Avigilon, part of Motorola Solutions. Its latest video management software, Avigilon Unity Video 8, combined with the advanced Avigilon H6A cameras which are embedded with AI-powered analytics, takes full advantage of the technology. The cloud-based offering Avigilon Alta also uses AI video analytics to improve its effectiveness.
We will continue to work with all our partners to ensure we stay ahead when it comes to making the best use of the latest technology.
In what ways does NSI certification differentiate your company from competitors and enhance your credibility within the industry?
Meeting the NSI Gold certification is part of our commitment to constantly improving our business practices and to offering an improved customer experience. It allows us to demonstrate to our clients that we adhere to the highest standards that we can in all areas of our business.
The Quality Management System (QMS) that you need to implement to have NSI Gold certification has led to us to continually monitor and manage quality across our business so we can identify areas for improvement.
We believe with the audits we have twice a year, and three yearly renewals, it shows customers that standards are maintained throughout and therefore the accreditation gives us an edge over competitors.
How has the rise of smart/home automation technology influenced your business and the services you offer?
As IP is at the centre of all of our solutions Ecl-ips has always concentrated its offer on technology that supports automation and provides easy-to-use platforms. That includes, the Avigilon surveillance camera options, the intruder alarm solutions from Orisec or HKC and the access control systems from Avigilon and Paxton, that all have mobile apps to make using the software easier than ever. We can offer those with larger properties solutions that can be managed wherever their owners are.
