Hanwha Techwin has announced that it is changing its name to Hanwha Vision to reflect how the company goes beyond video surveillance products to provide next-generation vision solutions that integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud technologies to deliver insights into customers’ business operations.
“By building on our core competitiveness through innovation, we will continue to alleviate our customers’ pain points while adding new value with advanced vision solutions,” said Soon-hong Ahn, President and CEO of Hanwha Vision.
“As we expand our business from surveillance monitoring and post-event analysis, we will provide customised information through big data analytics and actionable solutions that not only prevent incidents but also respond to them in real time. Our new vision solutions will be instrumental in advancing customers operational strategies.”
In line with this business development, Hanwha Vision will gradually roll out the rebranding of its overseas subsidiaries, products and solutions, based on market conditions.
