Linx International Group has announced the appointment of a new Group Training Manager, Dylan Gwinn.
Dylan joins the Group after a 13-year police career working in a variety of roles including firearms, criminal investigation and response policing. He has worked in a range of security roles within the UK and USA in relation to school shootings. He holds a Foundation Degree in Protective Security Management and a First Class Degree in Security Consultancy.
Dylan commented: “I have always been enthusiastic about teaching and helping people develop, encouraging them to reach their full potential. I felt that this was the ideal role for me based on my desire to help people achieve their goals within the security sector, both nationally and internationally. Now that I am in post, I am very much looking forward to starting that journey both with my fellow colleagues at Linx International Group and our present and future students.”
Dylan will lead the Group’s training services and be responsible for developing and overseeing all current and prospective training programmes, ensuring they are up-to-date, compliant, and meet sector needs. He will deliver security training to professionals all around the world, both in-house and public facing, and support on consulting services.
Managing Director for the Linx International Group Angus Darroch-Warren says: “We are delighted to have Dylan on board and as the Group continues to expand its portfolio of courses, his expertise as an educator and experience in the private security sector are the essential components we were looking for to develop our acclaimed learning programmes. Dylan will be instrumental in bringing new courses to our clients that address global security and risk issues, delivered in an engaging learning environment.”
