by Andy Clutton

_CAT9640NW Systems was recently honoured with a visit from its local MP and Minister for Employment, Esther McVey who opened the company’s new IP Video Technology Suite and talked to managing director Frank Crouwel about the latest trends.

Esther McVey viewed demonstrations of High Definition (HD) network cameras, specifically seeing demonstrations of thermal imaging, intelligent video analytics, Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and 360 degree camera displays in action. The new tech facility will be used to demonstrate modern CCTV capabilities to the company’s customers.

Frank Crouwel is promoting the idea of creating a Wirral Technology Hub to build a community of technology firms thereby providing a stronger base of IT skilled individuals living in the region and Esther is backing the idea.

“I was delighted to visit NW Systems who have evolved and grown rapidly having found a niche for themselves in the IT world,” said the MP. “I hope they continue to lead the way and can create a technology business hub in this area.”

Frank Crouwel of NW Systems, summarised, “We are very grateful for the visit from Esther to open our new IP Video Technology Suite. It is great to be recognised for our successful growth by our local MP who is closely engaged with the local business community and supports plans to bring more tech investment and jobs to Wirral.”
