Steve Norman, Sales Leader at Ajax Systems, celebrates the win

In 2020 the Intruder Product of the Year was announced as the MotionCam motion detector featuring visual verification from Ajax Systems

Ajax is a professional wireless alarm developed by Ajax Systems. The company develops and manufactures professional security equipment since 2011 and currently protects over 700 000 users in 100+ countries across the globe.

Ajax product line includes 32 gadgets for ultimate indoor and outdoor protection of premises. It features motion, fire, and leakage detectors, control panels (hubs), sirens, keyboards, panic buttons, as well as devices for smart home automation.

Certified with Grade 2, Ajax is fully secured with anti-sabotage and anti-jamming systems, encrypted channels, and authentication. All devices operate for 5-7 years on battery power and are configured remotely via the app — there is no need to visit the venue. There are mobile apps for users and software for specialists: Ajax PRO: Tool for Engineers mobile app (iOS, Android) and Ajax PRO Desktop, a computer application with alarm monitoring function (Windows, macOS).

Last year the company introduced MotionCam, a new motion detector with a camera for visual alarm verification. The detector resolves the problem of unverified alarms and security patrol calls by false alarms. Whenever MotionCam spots an intrusion, it takes several photos so that the owner and the security company can be convinced whether the intrusion is real or someone just forgot to disarm the system.

Ajax Systems officially entered the UK market at the end of 2018. However, the system gained the first recognition of the British professional security community even earlier. In 2017 Ajax was recognized as the “Intruder Alarm of the Year” at the IFSEC International, a leading integrated security event in London.

The company is working on launching new products for the British market. This autumn, Ajax will introduce the OS Malevich 2.10 update that will bring a number of new features: two-stage arming, alarm confirmation including two detectors, delay timer for sending the alarm event, selective system integrity check and others. As a result, Ajax security system will meet all the requirements of the British PD 6662 standard.
