Tom Brookes, Managing Director of Lindum Fire Services, has been appointed Vice Chairman of the Fire & Security Association (FSA). Tom will work with Pat Allen, FSA Chairman, and Steve Martin, Head of the FSA, to help shape the Association’s policy, strategy and offering to members.
He takes up the position after a 25-year career in the fire industry that has seen him serve as a technical advisor to the British Fire Consortium, the Fire Industries Association and the British Standards Institute – as well as playing an active role in the development of City & Guilds’ 1853-03 NVQ Level 3 qualification.
“Tom’s extensive industry experience and technical expertise will be a huge benefit to the FSA, our members and the industry we support,” said Steve Martin, Head of the FSA. “This is a crucial time for the fire and security industries, and Pat and I look forward to working with him to ensure the FSA continues to offer members the support they need to grow their businesses.”
