AddSecure has announced the launch of AddSecure PathLink, a new solution that enables simple and reliable upgrades of existing alarm panels to secure 4G connectivity. By integrating panel manufacturers hardware with an AddSecure SIM, the monitored path links directly into the AddSecure platform sending secure signals into UK Alarm Receiving Centres (ARCs).
PathLink provides a straightforward upgrade path for systems affected by the 2G and PSTN switch off, as well as for new installations. The system features 60-minute fault reporting time and encrypted communication and is designed for security alarm applications.
AddSecure PathLink will be available through ARCs in line with AddSecure’s NGP platform solutions.
“With PathLink, we’re making it easier and more cost-effective for customers to upgrade to secure 4G connectivity,” said Nicholas Whiting, VP Alarm Signalling, AddSecure UK. “By removing upfront hardware costs and simplifying installation, we help customers transition smoothly from legacy networks while maintaining reliable, compliant alarm signalling.”
Alarm installers with alarm panels reliant on 2G or 3G networks can upgrade to 4G using PathLink without incurring upfront hardware costs.
