Vemotion Interactive has released the VB-200, a compact, two-channel HD video encoder and recorder.
Delivering ultra-low latency, high-resolution live streaming HD video transmission over GPRS, 3G, 4GLTE, 5G, Wi-Fi and Satellite networks, the new VB-200 provides two simultaneous HD video (1920 x 1080) output streams, from one or more connected cameras.
Measuring 93.5mm x 82mm x 20mm, the VB-200 can provide close-up monitoring of any defined aspect of a particular scene. In conjunction with digital and optical PTZ, areas of a specific scene of interest can be simultaneously monitored to reveal enhanced detail.
Suitable for covert applications, or installation where space is limited, VB-200 video can either be streamed live or recorded on-board, and replayed and downloaded remotely via the Vemotion Viewer, Vemotion App (on an Android smartphone), or popular VMS platform. For evidential purposes, VB-200 live video is time/date stamped and can be synced to a server. In addition, the VB-200 can operate within extreme temperatures, ranging from -10℃ – 60℃.
“The new VB-200 delivers highly efficient streaming video in an incredibly small form factor encoder,” says Steve Haworth, CEO at Vemotion. “Easy to add to existing infrastructure, the VB-200 doesn’t need any specialist SIM cards and drives down usage costs by delivering multi-stream video data without the need for expensive airtime contracts.”
