Touchscreen terminal for easy access control

Tyco Security Products has released the Software House TST-100 touchscreen terminal. The interface offers clear icon-based status indications for access granted or denied, arm/disarm status for intrusion zones, prompts to enter a PIN when needed, and door status conditions such as Door Unlocked.

The terminal displays predefined messages and icons to cardholders depending on access privileges. The TST-100 also features a multicoloured LED light which provides users with a visual indication of access status and has a PIR sensor, which enables the LCD screen to automatically light up when someone approaches.

The TST-100 connects over full duplex RS-485 to an IP-ACM Ethernet Door Module using AES 256 encrypted communication.
