Thick with a brick

A car thief was knocked out when he tried to steal a Mercedes coupe parked outside a pub in Drogheda, Co Louth, Ireland by throwing a brick at the driver’s side window which bounced back, striking him in the head. If that was not bad enough for the thief, the incident was caught on CCTV outside the Pheasant Bar where he was found lying in the road by the pub’s owner who initially assumed that the man had been injured in a hit-and-run accident.

An arrest has been made and investigations are ongoing.
