As part of a strategy to maximise its ability to secure new clients, Securi-Guard has recruited Julian Confaloni and Michael Kingett as business development managers in the Fire and Security Division. Both are also being supported by installation engineer Matt Sayer, who has decided to widen the scope of his skills set and join the sales team part time.
Matt will primarily be based in Plymouth and has the task of converting engineers’ leads into new business, as well as securing new maintenance and monitoring contracts.
Julian will be looking to develop new business opportunities across a variety of sectors in Cornwall, while Michael will be responsible for covering the Exeter and East Devon area, as well as North Devon and parts of Somerset.
A key element of the job for both men will be to raise awareness of the company’s portfolio of services covering fire and intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems and the services offered by other departments within the company, 24/7 monitoring services, security guarding, mobile patrols, keyholding and fire extinguishers.
Both Julian and Michael are excited at the opportunity to build a new client base for Securi-Guard and further enhance the company’s reputation.
Julian said, “To get the chance to be a part of the team and focus on developing new business opportunities in such a wonderful part of the country was just too good to miss.”
Prior to joining Securi-Guard, Julian worked as a business development manager for a security systems firm and has previous experience of both installation and maintenance of security/fire alarm systems, while Michael has extensive knowledge of fire alarm systems and fire risk assessment in various roles as an engineer manager.
