Runners caught taking short cuts

258 runners were caught cheating in Shenzhen’s half marathon at the end of 2018. Police CCTV caught the moment 237 took a shortcut during the race and a further 18 runners were found to wearing fake bibs, and three were running on behalf of others. Some runners will be banned for two years while others face lifetime bans.
