Redvision has welcomed Ray Butcher to the role of IP Technical Support Engineer. This specialist appointment is a result of Redvision’s introduction of the IP-based RVX-IP30 X-SERIES rugged PTZ dome camera range and sales growth in both UK and export markets.
Ray has IT, telecommunications and network system experience in multi-national companies and SME organisations. His previous responsibilities have included technical project management and the implementation and delivery of network solutions.
Paul Hucker, MD of Redvision commented: “Ray’s IP expertise is invaluable to us. Part of his responsibility is to introduce and maintain SDK integrations between our recently launched RVX-IP30 range and control equipment and video management software (VMS) systems. Ray also has a pre and post sales technical support responsibility for IP products and systems, to support our customers’ network CCTV applications. Many of our products are installed on sites where IT staff need access to specialist IP support when required.”
