Milestone Systems has announced that of July 1st, 2024, it has merged with the cloud-based video surveillance solutions provider Arcules.
The merger brings together Milestone and Arcules’ capabilities within video management software (VMS), video analytics and Video Surveillance as a Service (VSaaS), providing a complete video technology offering.
With the VSaaS market predicted to experience exponential growth while AI is creating new possibilities, by adding Arcules to Milestone’s product line, the merger combines video management with the agility and scalability of the cloud and promise of leveraging AI and combining forces is a step towards advancements in the VSaaS market.
Thomas Jensen, CEO of Milestone Systems, said: “Milestone and Arcules have a strong existing partnership and a common DNA. The merger is scheduled to be finalised by the end of 2024.
