Hikvision autumn roadshow series begins

by Andy Clutton

hikvision17roadshowThe Autumn series of Hikvision roadshows kicked off this week with a busy event at Sandown Park, Esher. A large gathering of installers met with channel partners including DVS, Norbain, ezCCTV, ADI and Dynamic CCTV along with technology partners Pyronix and WD for a range of presentations and product demos.

The presentations covered diverse subjects such as video IP intercom systems, ANPR solutions, cloud based alarms and surveillance data storage and was the first date in the diary of events that includes shows at Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds and Glasgow.

In the same week Hikvision opened its new UK office, showroom and training suite in Stockley Park, Uxbridge. The 500-square foot training academy houses a selection of Hikvision’s models to support engineers with their learning. This includes both analogue and digital cameras. Previously Hikvision Certified Security Academy (HCSA) could only train 20 integrators per day, once a week, but due to the demand of the training course, the new facility allows for 32 engineers a day, twice a week. The company has also invested in a showroom to demonstrate the capabilities of its products.
