IDIS has appointed Charles Penning to the position of Technical Specialist. Based out of the IDIS European headquarters in London, Charles will strengthen the UK technical team to provide technical support and training across the UK and Ireland.
Charles will underpin an already robust training program hosted from the IDIS demo and training centre in Brentford. Commenting on his appointment Charles said: “It’s an exciting time to join IDIS during a period of huge growth that has seen the establishment of IDIS in the Middle East and Americas and the recent launch of our total surveillance solution here in London at IFSEC. The IDIS total solution offering enables us to meet the surveillance requirements from both a security and technology perspective for a wide range of customers big or small.”
Penning brings with him over ten years’ security industry experience and a wealth of technical expertise in both analogue and network surveillance. He most recently spent four years in technical roles with Samsung Techwin following tenures with Bosch and Forward Vision CCTV.
