A Philadelphia bus driver is facing disciplinary action because she was not buckled in when she fell out of her seat and nearly hit a freight train. Onboard CCTV footage shows the driver slipping to the floor while she grabs for the wheel. The bus jumped a median and veered toward the train before coming to a halt on the tracks.
A Conrail train was blocking the Route 29 bus at Tasker Street, so the driver tried to go around making a U-turn, but spins the wheel too far, losing control and falling out of her seat because she’s not buckled in. The bus drives up and over the median and onto train tracks.
In the video, the passengers could be seen flying from their seats. The driver and some of the passengers were injured. Fortunately the train stopped and workers came to help.
