BBC Fire & Security celebrates 40 years

by Andy Clutton

Managing Director Dave Moore cuts the celebration cake

Established in 1979 by three founding Directors, BBC Fire & Security (formerly BBC Fire Protection) first started trading from a former Corner Shop in Norwich. Now in its fifth decade, BBC has grown to become a respected fire life safety and security service provider.

According to the company, success has come from the application and development of expert knowledge combined with a commitment to compliance and best practice, and above all providing an attentive, personal service to all customers. In fact, in 1996 the business was awarded the Royal Warrant by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

A multi discipline approach, commitment to innovation and reputation has, over the past 40 years, laid the foundation for the company’s current success as part of the Marlowe plc Group of Companies.

A statement says: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to our achievements over the past 40 years. Our special thanks go to our pioneering Supply Chain Partners, our loyal Customers and last but by no means least, our greatest asset, our dedicated Team Members.”
