The BSIA has confirmed that Clear Sound Fire & Security, based in Coventry, is the first company to join the CySPAG Installer Scheme.
Ian Ramsay, managing director said that the company joined the CySPAG installer scheme because: “It appealed to me as a worthwhile incentive by the BSIA to improve cyber security, not only for members, but across the whole electronic security industry.
“We can use it to demonstrate to our existing and potential customers that we take the cyber security of our products and practices seriously,” he continued. “Giving them confidence they are dealing with a professional and committed company”.
BSIA technical director Dave Wilkinson commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Clear Sound Fire & Security as the first registrant to our CySPAG installer scheme. This milestone marks a significant step forward in raising the bar on cybersecurity across the professional security industry. CySPAG is more than a badge—it’s a commitment to best practice, resilience, and building trust. We encourage all responsible installers to embrace the scheme and help drive the sector toward a more secure and future-ready standard.”
