What would you do if a couple of armed robbers just burst into your shop? Dan Rigney a shop owner from Redland City in Australia seems to be well prepared if this CCTV footage is anything to go by.
As soon as he realised the intentions of the pair entering the shop he created a makeshift flamethrower to blast fire at the thieves using a can of fly spray and a lighter. Unfortunately his attempts only delayed the robbers, as one of the attackers eventually points a gun at the shop owner before raiding the till. The shopkeeper found an opportunity to leg it as the thieves started helping themselves to cash, they escaped with $680 from the till – and singed eyebrows.
