Ultion adds biometrics to smart lock

Ultion has added biometric entry to its Ultion Nuki smart lock, meaning people can securely access their property with their fingerprint. The Wireless Fingerprint Keypad joins voice, app, smartwatch, keyfob and traditional door key access options via the Ultion Nuki system.

The keypad uses Bluetooth to connect to Ultion Nuki, so no wiring is required, and although sleek enough to fit on a door frame, it can be placed anywhere within a 10-metre range if it is required to keep it out of sight.

The device stores up to 20 fingerprints and along with Ultion Nuki is compatible with all major smart home platforms as well as the Airbnb app for holiday rentals.
