Chris Haycocks, Managing Director of Boels in the UK, has performed the Grand Opening of the new Boels branch in Liverpool. The opening follows the acquisitions of Supply UK (2017) and Already Hire (2018) and the new branch in Liverpool is the first in the UK that the tool and machinery rental company will be operating without a third-party acquisition.
As in the rest of Europe, Boels Rental is following a growth strategy in the UK. Through the acquisition of Supply UK, the company already started out with a network of 19 tool hire branches and six branches specialising in survey and laser. The acquisition of Already Hire followed in April 2018, adding four new branches in London. Today, counting the new branch in Liverpool, Boels Rental operates in 29 locations across the UK.
Chris Haycocks said: “I can’t rule out that more acquisitions will follow in the near future. The aim is to operate at least 50 branches in the UK by 2020.”
