Takex Europe has launched the VS-1000E, a vape and smoking sensor designed to address the growing problem of vaping in schools, restrooms and other environments.
Leveraging a particle sensor and detection algorithms, VS-1000E will adapt to changing environmental conditions to quickly identify vaping and smoking activities. To proactively deter vaping and smoking, the sensor’s integrated sounder emits a localised audible alert along with an LED notification light, providing clear and urgent warning for swift action.
Engineered for rapid deployment, a twist-lock base and tool-less, push-fit terminals enable installation in seconds, whether securing to a ceiling or wall and VS-1000E operates independently without the need for app-based management, offering license-free operation.
