Pyronix has announced extended warranties for all wireless devices by an entire year – offering a total of three years – provided specified batteries are used. To take advantage of this offer, the device must be powered by specific batteries recommended by Pyronix.
“Our products undergo tens of thousands of hours of testing with different cell types,” said Laurence Kenny, product director. “This testing guarantees the batteries that we recommend provide our customers with the best possible experience and product performance.
“These specific cells not only maximise product battery life, but also reduce callouts, saving both time and money. Suboptimal batteries can trigger false low-battery warnings or even sudden device shutdowns leading to inconvenient and avoidable callouts.”
Beyond performance concerns, using unapproved batteries poses potential safety risks for customers and the environment. Inefficient batteries can lead to leaks, overheating and even fires, endangering properties and the surrounding environment. Furthermore, improper disposal of low-quality batteries contributes to environmental pollution.
