Skills for Security has officially launched its new training centre in Warrington, offering expanded, modernised spaces designed to enhance both teaching and hands-on learning. Features include larger classrooms, upgraded workshops and advanced training equipment that simulate real-world environments.
David Scott, managing director at Skills for Security says: “This new centre represents a strategic investment in the future of the fire and security industry. As demand for skilled professionals continues to grow, we’re responding with a facility that raises the bar in training delivery. It’s not just about space – it’s about creating an environment where learners thrive and leave ready to make an immediate impact.”
Apprentices have already begun their training at the new site, benefitting from the enhanced resources and a curriculum that blends technical theory with practical application.
“We’ve built more than a training centre – we’ve created a hub for opportunity,” adds Richard Cooper, director of education at Skills for Security. “It’s a place where careers begin, skills are sharpened, and learners are empowered to reach their full potential. This is a proud moment for our team and an exciting step forward for the industry.”
