Shoplifter drops into store

This CCTV footage captures the moment a shoplifter falls through the roof of a supermarket as he tries to leave the scene without detection. The thief crashes through the ceiling amid shoppers after being spotted stealing from the Aldi store. Police were called to the supermarket in Green Street, Kidderminster on Sunday 29^th July 2018 after staff members detained the suspect.

Writing on Twitter, Kidderminster Police said afterwards: “The getaway techniques of our shoplifters this morning could do with a little work…. No one injured – just a little surprised!”
