barox Kommunikation has announced the appointment of Adrian Briner to the role of product manager. In his new role at barox, Adrian will be responsible for shaping the barox range of Ethernet switches, media converters and the IP extender product portfolio.
Adrian Briner said: “The video security market is a highly demanding and constantly evolving marketplace. Essentially, customer and installation requirements differ for every application – and it’s up to us to be proactive in meeting those demands. I’m looking forward to being in the hot seat, driving development not just for new Ethernet switch products, but also for API, plug-in and third-party integrations.”
Amassing over 20 years of industry development experience, previously employed at WEY Group AG, Adrian spent his last five years as head of development, a role that encompassed software and hardware development, and product engineering. Responsible for the entire WEYTEC product portfolio, the role saw Adrian planning, prioritising, coordinating and controlling development projects, as well as being in charge of feasibility enquiries and studies. This also included renewal of the overall ‘WEYTEC Distribution Platform MX’ solution and ensuring compliance of the processes between stakeholders and the WEYTEC engineering division.
