Following the move to a new 15,000 sq ft premises after securing a co-investment from HSBC and Finance Wales, Oprema has created 15 new jobs and has welcomed a number of new faces to the team across various departments over the past few months.
Joining the finance team is Geraint Real, who has taken the position of Finance Assistant. Geraint has worked in finance for the past ten years in the private, charity and public sectors, as well as having gained experience running a security company providing static security guards, site visits and CCTV operators for companies in the South Wales area. At Oprema, Geraint will be assisting with the day-to-day running of the transactional finance functions.
Harriet Butler joined as Personal Assistant to the MD, Matthew Epps. Having worked as legal secretary and PA for five years at a law firm in Cardiff, Harriet is looking forward to joining the team, applying her experience to the security sector and helping with administration and organisation.
Oprema’s technical team is also expanding, with the appointment of Anthony Philips as Systems Builder. Boasting 20 years’ experience in the security industry, Anthony is tasked with fulfilling customer orders and updating security technology software and firmware.
