Technical Resources has announced the appointment of David Bowles as a full Company Director following his purchase of a 15 per cent stake in the recruitment agency, which specialises in serving the telecoms, IT, fire and security, mechanical and electrical sectors.
David advances to the new role after starting with the company as an apprentice twelve years ago, and then steadily working towards the position of operations director – a job he has held for the past four years.
Alan Derry, Managing Director at Technical Resources comments: “We’re delighted with David’s promotion. It’s very well-deserved and demonstrates our commitment to training and advancing members of our own team. His personal investment in the organisation illustrates a secure and long-term future for Technical Resources.

Plans to continue developing the company’s staff comes at a time when demand for skilled technical employees is reaching an all-time high. According to Tech Nation’s ‘Jobs & Skills Report 2021,’ following a rebound from COVID-19, tech jobs demand is 42% higher than at the same time in 2019.
