Mitie has completed its acquisition of Marlowe plc. The acquisition brings together two complementary businesses offering a suite of services from facilities management to facilities transformation and now facilities compliance and adds Marlowe’s 2,700 colleagues to Mitie’s 76,000 workforce.
Increasing legislative requirements including enhanced security standards, new fire safety regulations and evolving environmental mandates have increased the demand for robust compliance solutions. The acquisition of Marlowe will enhance Mitie’s testing, inspection and certification (TIC) business, enabling it to support customers with security systems, fire compliance and environmental services.
