by Andy Clutton

Kings Secure Technologies (KST) has been awarded a new five-year contract with the Post Office with a possible extension for a further three years.

As the Post Office is a core part of the national infrastructure; it is essential that its network has the appropriate security controls in place to ensure that it is not affected by issues that could impact the service it provides to its customers, clients and the wider community.

Working together with long term weighing solutions supplier to Post Office, DIGI Group and safe servicing and engineering partner, Insafe the companies will maintain and service the Post Office estate. The contract will include all security and business critical services such as: service, maintenance, monitoring, installation and technical support of alarm systems, CCTV systems, fire systems, safes, scales, cash units, fire doors, high security doors, gates, barriers, hatches, access control and compliance, PAT testing and fire risk assessments across the whole Post Office estate.

Bob Forsyth, Chief Executive Officer of KST, said: “We are delighted to announce the award of this contract and the continuation of our successful relationship with Post Office.”
