IDIS has announced the appointment of Brian Lee as the managing director of IDIS Europe. Brian brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having most recently served as senior VP of Marketing & Sales Development at IDIS Americas, based in Dallas. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s presence in the North American and Latin American markets.
Before his time in the United States, Brian held an influential position at the company’s headquarters as the head of the Global Strategy Team. In this capacity, he contributed to shaping the strategic direction of IDIS, which is recognized as South Korea’s largest video technology manufacturer.
With his background and proven track record, Brian Lee is poised to lead IDIS Europe into a new era of innovation and growth in the AI video surveillance sector, and to specifically support end-users in the UK in complying with the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025.
“As end-users in the UK and more widely look to upgrade their systems, including to ensure compliance with the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, our latest launches are designed to support more preventative and proactive security responses,” said Brian.
