i-PRO has launched the U-series, marking the first time edge AI has been introduced to all its security camera lines.
The series is designed for installations that need the advantages of AI-based object detection in security environments at an entry level. The models are particularly suited for detecting intruders, loitering, direction, line crossing, and speeding.

The new product line introduces resolution options, including 2MP, 5MP, and 4K dome, box, and bullet cameras, enhancing clarity and precision. Additional features include AI image analytics with AI-VMD for intelligent video motion detection, audio recording capabilities for enhanced situational awareness and increased optical zoom for a focus on image clarity and analytics accuracy.
The U-series camera line was designed to be a companion for direct-to-cloud VSaaS deployments. As cloud-based solutions continue to evolve, future firmware updates will enable additional features and functionality. By combining Direct-to-Cloud connectivity with AI on the Edge, these cameras deliver real-time insights while reducing bandwidth consumption, improving response times, and enhancing data privacy.
