Hochiki Europe has added a new course to the Hochiki Training Academy, giving installers, specifiers and distributors free access to training on the FIREbeam beam smoke detection range.
The new course covers the fundamentals of beam smoke detection and introduces both products in the range: FIREbeam Xtra, the addressable beam smoke detector, and FIREbeam Conex, the conventional equivalent, alongside the accessories available across the range. Beam detectors are designed for buildings with large, open interiors where point detection would be impractical, including warehouses, shopping centres, sports halls, museums, hotel atriums and transport terminals. By completing the course, installers and specifiers working on these kinds of projects can build their confidence in the range before they need to specify or install it on site. The course is free to access for anyone who registers on the Academy.
Martin Green, commercial training and support manager at Hochiki Europe, said: “If you have a project coming up with a large open space, whether that is a warehouse, an atrium or a sports hall, this course gives you a solid grounding in the FIREbeam range before you get started.”
