This CCTV footage released by Austin Police Department shows a Chevrolet Tahoe 4X4 turning around at the ground level of a multi-storey parking garage when a BMW falls onto the ground from the seventh floor. The driver of the fallen car mistook the brake for the accelerator and suffered serious injuries as a result. Apparently it was not the first time a car had fallen at this garage so the safety barrier cables are now under review for being fit-for-purpose despite meeting regulations.
