Burg-Wächter has launched secuENTRY Home, a smart lock with a choice of operating methods available to suit the customer’s individual needs.
The system is designed to be simple to install; after removing the old cylinder, the secuENTRY Home cylinder is inserted and set it to the correct door thickness.
The choice of operation methods include:
• Six-digit PIN code operated keypad – The illuminated, IP53 weather protection rated ENTRY 7711 Keypad PIN opens the door with a factory set pincode, which can be changed at any time using the free KeyApp.
• Remote electronic key – Ideal for adding to a key ring and, with Bluetooth 5.2 LE for longer range and lower battery usage, it unlocks the door with the touch of a button – available as a separate purchase.
• BURGsmart app – Available for iOS and Android smartphones, the app allows the convenient set up and management of users and locks, including unlocking the door via the app.
Matt Parkes, marketing manager at Burg-Wächter said: “Adding a smart lock can be a daunting task. secuENTRY Home couldn’t be easier to install and setup. Factory programmed with a unique pincode and needing no wiring, it can be up and running in minutes. Simply enter the code and the door unlocks. For those wanting more features, the free app unlocks entry via a smartphone, setting your own unique pin, and setting up remote keyfobs.”
