Chubb celebrated the achievements of 55 engineering, sales, and business support graduates at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel in Accrington recently. The ceremony was not just an event to hand over certificates; it was a well-deserved celebration of the past year’s learning and development, highlighting the learning journey into full-time roles within Chubb.
Among the graduates were learners completing qualifications from apprenticeship pathways, fast-track fire and security engineering qualifications, and advanced-level sales qualifications.
Three graduates were recognised for their outstanding achievements over the past twelve months. Zach Hearson was awarded Chubb Apprentice of the Year, and Niall Collins was named Chubb Learner of the Year. Adding to the accolades, Elizabeth McConnell was recognised as Mentor of the Year, celebrating the crucial role mentors play in guiding Chubb’s apprentices through their developmental journey.
Chubb’s Early Careers Manager, Jim McSharry, hosted the event and said: “It’s a really positive end to three and a half years of learning for the apprentices, Accelerated Development Programme cohort, and sales graduates. It’s fantastic recognition of a milestone and an exciting beginning to fulfilling careers with Chubb.”
The graduates will now continue their journey at Chubb in a range of full-time positions, where they will be given the opportunity to grow and progress in their careers in a supportive and nurturing environment.
