BT Redcare has announced three new certifications for its Next Generation portfolio:
- European Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) for its Essential IP product
- BSI Kitemark certifications for its IoT devices and for its Secure Digital Applications for the Redcare app and portal
- Secured Connected Device (SCD) accreditation for its Monitored Alarm Signalling
Nick Whiting, Head of BT Redcare, part of its Enterprise business, said: “It’s vital that the industry takes all the steps necessary to protect people, premises, and possessions, and the three certifications give installers the confidence to reassure customers that solutions will perform in emergencies. Michelle Kradolfer, Secured by Design Internet of Things (IoT) Technical Officer, said: “I am absolutely delighted that BT Redcare has achieved the Secure Connected Device accreditation for its Monitored Alarm Signalling Systems, the first of its kind to achieve this accreditation.

BT Redcare has demonstrated that its products have undergone and achieved the appropriate IoT standards and certifications.”
