BFT Automation has announced an expansion of its operations in Stockport with the acquisition of an additional warehouse located next to its current premises.
The move comes in response to sustained growth and steady demand for the company’s automated gate systems, barriers and bollards. The new facility, which offers an additional 5,000 sq. ft to the existing 12,000 sq. ft site, will enable BFT to increase capacity and improve operational efficiency.
Commenting on the acquisition of new premises, Matthew Batson, director at BFT Automation, said: “The new warehouse gives us the additional space and resources needed to better serve our customers, our staff, and continue to deliver products and services of a high standard. The timing is ideal – working in partnership with our colleagues in BFT Italy, we are at the beginning of an exciting project to distribute our products into the Nordic countries from our UK operations and this additional capacity can only aid this project.”
The company expects to complete the move by the end of summer with minimal disruption to current operations.
