After serving the industry for many years, the IFSEC exhibition is seemingly no more.
From being the largest security event in the UK filling numerous halls in the NEC Birmingham, the show was moved to London in 2014, but this relocation didn’t sit well with visitors and the focus of the event shifted to the end user.
Last year an attempt was made to invigorate the show by renaming the event and its co-hosted titles as Anticipate London. However, following its inaugural outing the organiser Informa has issued the following short statement:
“We’ve taken the decision to retire Anticipate. This industry is about evolving and adapting. And we know that the ways UK professionals want to stay informed across the many topics and specialisms within health, safety, security, buildings and facilities are changing too.
“We’re proud to have served this fantastic community over the years. Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey.”
