Addsecure joins Euralarm Security Section

by Andy Clutton

Euralarm has welcomed AddSecure as new member. The provider of secure IoT connectivity and end-to-end solutions will become a member of the Euralarm Security Section.

Being a member of Euralarm enables companies and associations to gain expertise on standardisation. Members have their voice heard in Brussels and can support and direct standardisation and legislative processes. The Security Section undertakes efforts to ensure that European (CEN/CENELEC/ETSI) security equipment and system standards meet the requirements of members.

Readers of PSI magazine will be familiar with the AddSecure name as the company featured in our July 2024 edition announcing that, through a collaboration agreement, it is to continue the service and migration of existing customers of BT Redcare and to continue the Next Generation fire and security alarm signalling services in the UK.

Speaking to PSI, Wim Harthoorn, Director AddSecure Redcare UK said: “With a legacy dating back to the early 1970s in alarm signalling solutions, AddSecure has evolved beyond securing communications for alarms alone. Through continuous innovation and strategic acquisitions across Europe, we now address diverse challenges in fields such as public safety, rescue services, building security and automation, elderly care, transport and logistics, construction, utilities, smart cities, and beyond.”
